Seth Cimino is a Police Sergeant employed by the Citrus Heights (CA) Police Department. Prior to joining the CHPD in 2013, Seth worked for the Del Norte County (CA) Sheriff’s Office where he supervised the county’s Marijuana Suppression Program. During the course of his 18 year career, Seth has spent over 10 years as a Narcotics Detective focused on marijuana-related crimes.

Seth is a CA POST-certified instructor and an Office of Drug Control Policy National Marijuana Initiative speaker. Seth teaches for several State and National training organizations, on topics ranging from: search and seizure, medical marijuana investigation & application (Prop. 215 / SB 420), marijuana cultivation, possession, possession for sales, sales and concentrated cannabis investigations.

Seth serves as a CA POST Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the topic of cannabis and has qualified as a subject matter expert in cannabis-related crimes in state and federal court. He is a published author of multiple drug-related crimes and search and seizure articles and has spoken multiple times on talk radio as a marijuana/BHO expert discussing the “Dangers and Societal Impact of Marijuana and BHO”. Seth has also spoken to elected officials at the CA State Capitol as a marijuana expert discussing the “Societal Impact of Cannabis”.

Seth possesses his POST Advanced Certificate and has his Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice from CSU-Sacramento. Seth is the Owner/President of Cimino Training and Consulting LLC and frequently travels the State and Country teaching drug-related crimes classes.
